One of Korea’s signature fairs on coffee and cafes, the 15th Seoul International Cafe Show, will be held from November 10 to 13 at COEX. The annual event has successfully been hosted for many years now with the previous year attracting 555 exhibitors from 35 countries and over 140,000 visitors from 76 countries. This year’s Cafe Show is expected to host 600 exhibitors from 40 countries with the number of consultation meetings and products on display expected to also increase.
This year’s Cafe Show includes exciting competition events such as the “Korea Barista Championship,” and the “World Latte Art Battle,” hands-on activity programs for the public, and a “World Coffee Leaders Forum.” Offering an excellent array of programs and events, the Café Show is designed to ensure that both visitors and exhibitors benefit from the show. Tickets for the Cafe Show can be purchased online or at the venue.
What’s more, Seoul’s MICE tour shuttle bus “Seoul Coffee Tour Bus” will be available for international exhibitors, buyers, and visitors of the Cafe Show during the event period. The tour buses will operate along several routes that include visits to some of Seoul’s most famous coffee shops in popular districts and neighborhoods such as Gangnam, Itaewon, and Sangsu. Participants can choose tour courses to areas that suit their tastes and preferences on food, attractions, shopping, and entertainment and the courses are a perfect way to enjoy the city for those who are on a tight schedule.
The Seoul Coffee Tour Bus will leave from COEX every two hours for each route. It is scheduled to run five times a day with English tour guides and staff members on hand at every major bus stop.
To assist those who wish to make use of this exciting bus service, a Seoul city tour & MICE promotion booth will be set up in Hall A in COEX. Information on the bus tour routes and stops, Seoul tour maps, shopping guidebooks and other tour booklets will be available at the booth along with Seoul tour souvenirs, a photo zone with Bukchon Hanok Village as the background, and a hanbok station where visitors can try on the traditional Korean clothing of hanbok.
