Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas announced I-Chef Promotion to celebrate “the Month of Family”, where they serve their signature dishes prepared by 11 InterContinental hotel restaurant chefs from May 1 – 8 at the buffet restaurant “Grand Kitchen”. Named after the hotel brand’s initial letter “I”, the promotion will provide opportunities to enjoy a variety of cuisine prepared by chefs from all the hotel’s restaurants with various cultural backgrounds including Germany, India and Arabic countries.

As a major event organized by InterContinental from 2009 to 2013, I-Chef Promotion offers opportunities to enjoy all the signature dishes from the restaurants located in the hotel at the same price. Due to its huge popularity, reservations were sold out immediately. This May, to celebrate the Month of Family, the promotion will return after 5 years. On Children’s Day, May 5, 15 additional kid’s favorite items such as Churros, berry crepe and Ddeokgalbi hotdog will be included in the menu as well as fun side events such as face painting and balloon animal giveaway.


The menu served during the I-Chef Promotion includes “Northern German-style potato salad and meatballs” prepared by executive chef Béla Rieck; “beef sukiyaki” by Chef Kim Myung-woo from Japanese restaurant Hakone; “Sichuan Tan Tan noodle” by Chef Yang Su-in from Chinese restaurant Wei Lou; “Provence-style snail dish” by Chef Lim Ho-taek from French restaurant Table 34; “Harisa shrimp and cauliflower mousse” by Chef Kim Sang-tae from Grand Kitchen; “Seafood with Bisque sauce and garlic potato puree” by Chef Lee Jung-woo from Brasserie; “Bulgogi salad” by Chef Park Gwang-mook from Asian Live; “Shawarma (Arab-style chicken sandwich)” by Chef Ahmad from Jordan; “Dal makhani (Indian black bean curry)” by Mohamad, a new chef with 20 years’ experience in India; “Squid ink potato gnocchi” by Chef Kim Chang-bae from Italian restaurant Sky Lounge; and “Berry opera” by Chef Park Jung-hoon from Grand Deli. The 11 signature dishes from 9 countries will be served at the Live Station.


I-Chef Promotion will be available from Tuesday, May 1 to Tuesday, May 8 and the price will remain the same throughout the promotion. Lunch: KRW 90,000/95,000 (weekdays/weekends & holidays), Dinner: KRW 100,000/105,000 (weekdays/weekends & holidays) (inclusive of tax & service charge)
