– Sky Lounge offers handmade Italian Gelato as part of the ‘Summer Desserts other than Bingsu’ Event 

 

Sky Lounge, the Italian restaurant on the 30th floor of InterContinental Seoul COEX, presents three new chef’s homemade Italian Gelato. These refined desserts will be available for a limited time period, from May 1 to August 31.

Gelato is ice cream in the Italian style, made with egg, cream, sugar, and flavored with fresh ingredients. This makes gelato generally lower in fat than other styles of ice cream, and gives a dense, rich flavor with a chewy texture that distinguishes it from others.

 

This year, Sky Lounge offers three kinds of gelato. Tiramisu Gelato is made from Italian mascarpone cheese and decorated with hazelnut and chocolate toppings. Affogato Gelato is made with espresso of illy, Italian coffee maker brand, and topped with vanilla and chocolate syrups. Mango Yoghurt Gelato is flavored with mango and other fresh fruits. The prices are from KRW 21,000 to KRW 34,000 (service charge and tax included).
