28 May Publicizing ‘Seoul’ at the only domestic MICE specialized exhibition

Seoul Tourism Organization announced that it will participate in the ‘Korea MICE Expo 2016’ to be held on June 9 to 10 at Incheon’s Songdo Convensia under joint sponsorship by the Korea Tourism Organization and Incheon Tourism Organization.
‘Korea MICE Expo (hereinafter referred to as KME)’ is the specialized MICE exhibition dealing with the overall programs of the MICE industry, from the vitalization of the MICE industry, enhancing capacity to attract events, to nurturing specialist human resources. This year, KME 2016 is comprised of events such as MICE exhibition, business consultation session with invitees of overseas prominent buyers, regional publicity explanatory session for attraction of events, K-MICE forum, etc. providing opportunities for professional business education to all domestic and international participants.
Seoul Tourism Organization will participate in this year’s KME 2016, planning on 1:1 business consultation with overseas MICE buyers and buyer familiarization tours, etc. with SMA Joint Publicity Center as the core hub. Especially, using the PSA (Pre-Scheduled Appointment) system in a more advanced form than previous years, the consultation schedule between buyers and sellers can be adjusted even before commencement of the event, hence saving time for both buyers and sellers.
In this regard, it is announced that new MICE demand will be explored and MICE infrastructure of Seoul will be positively publicized.
Among the 140 invitee overseas buyers, the applicants for the Seoul course will survey Seoul focusing on unique venues after completion of the event. Luncheon and dinner will be provided and the specialist premium commentators on unique venues and Seoul MICE supporters will accompany them.
