[March 5, 2018 – Seoul] Deluxe hotel THE PLAZA Seoul, Autograph Collection (www.hoteltheplaza.com) announces the launch of Platinum Signature, an exclusive membership scheme designed for the elite 1% of guests seeking unparalleled benefits and services.

 

Platinum Signature, the most expensive membership service offered by any Korean deluxe hotel, is available in three categories: Gourmet, Golf and Travel, offering a further layer of personalization. Unlike other membership schemes, which offer hotel restaurant discounts as standard, Platinum Signature offers benefits including vouchers for accommodation in a unique and refined Prestige Suite styled by Italian designer Guido Ciompi (equivalent value: 2 million won) and for dining at The Seven Square, offering an eclectic selection of global gourmet cuisine (equivalent value: 200,000 won). Total benefits are worth approximately 5 million won, or twice the annual Platinum Signature membership fee.

 

Platinum Signature Gourmet, designed for the elite upper 1% of diners, offers benefits including set menus at three hotel restaurants, created by their respective head chefs, on the theme of a ‘deluxe hotel gourmet voyage’; Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage champagne handpicked by a professional sommelier; dining at the Garden Salad Bar at 63Restaurant’s Walking on the Cloud; and complimentary corkage.

 

Platinum Signature Golf was conceived with the elite 1% of golf enthusiasts in mind, based on a theme of ‘privacy-oriented business lifestyle,’ offering complimentary green fees at Hanwha Hotels & Resorts courses in Taean, Seorak, Yongin and Jeju; lessons at Golf Clinic, operated by premier Japanese golf equipment maker Maruman; and golf product packages.

 

Finally, Platinum Signature Travel was conceived for the upper 1% of travel lovers on a theme of ‘relaxation beyond expectation,’ offering vouchers for deluxe hotels on Jeju Island and for 13 Hanwha Resorts nationwide, as well as for signature programs at luxury oriental spa The Belle Spa at THE PLAZA.

 

Platinum Signature members also enjoy unlimited savings of up to 33%, according to number of diners, at restaurants at THE PLAZA Seoul and venues at 63Restaurant, including Baeknihyang, Shuchiku, Walking on the Cloud and Pavilion. Other features include savings at the Apgujeong, Samseong Trade Center and Mokdong Hyundai Department Store branches of T Won, plus additional savings of 10% on seasonal hotel packages, 30% on regular room rates, and alternative use of family type Hanwha Resorts rooms. Savings of 10-30% are also offered on admission to Hanwha Hotels & Resorts properties nationwide, including Waterpia, Springdome, Royal Saddle Equestrian Society, Aqua Planet, Jade Garden Arboretum and golf courses.
